Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel around a lot working in film/TV...

Often times, when I'm on a project, I don't spend much time at home at all, but the majority of my time in the office drawing (I'm a set designer). I grew up traveling around and camping, so I'm used to sleeping in different places, leaving no trace, and I enjoy meeting new folks. I go to work early. I draw pictures all day. I come home late. Sleeping bag. Pillow. Backpack. Duffle bag.

A stay on your comfy couch will be greatly appreciated!

Interests

When I'm not set designing/art directing for film/TV, I still like to do creative things. I paint murals and draw cartoons. But I also like to get outside and active. I skateboard, surf, yoga and hike when time and environs permit. Watching movies. Netflix and chill. I really like cartoons....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Art Directed an hour-long variety special called The Maya Rudolph Show, starring Maya Rudolph, Andy Sandberg, Fred Armisen, Chris Parnell, Kathryn Bell, Craig Robinson, and Sean Hayes. Working with Eugene Lee, a legendary broadway designer, and my mentor Matthew Jacobs, I drew the plans for all of the scenery and supervised the coordination and build of the show at NBC Universal three years after touring the studio on my senior trip at UNCSA.
