my name is Jean-Charles . I am 31 years old and I am Historian, doctor from Paris-Sorbonne.

Whenever I find the time I take the vélib and do a little tour in Paris. I love my town and really know it by heart. So if you come around there won't be any problems to show you around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new people and places. I've hosted already several times and did some trips especially to the Eastern part of Europe.

Interests

My passion is history. But I love cultural topics in general: musics, arts, museums, restaurants and of course walks in Paris.

musics: I always listen to music, I love pop-rock and famous bands (Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Nirvana, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin...) but I can stand as well classic and jazz.

books: ..... and again: I love history books and classic french works by Stendhall, Dumas, Camus, Céline, Laclos and so on and so on....

movies: my favourites are Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarentino, Martin Scorcese and Woody Allen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit Bourges where I was born and came to Paris to live here. Best thing I've ever did.
