About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Recently decided the time was right to uproot and immerse myself in the sea of faces and places, fortuantely my job allows me to do so conviently. I'm convinced that the only thing that eclipses the variation in wine is the variation in people, and that genuinely good people are everywhere. I am a sucker for sensual things, and believe that one of the best parts of living is eating. There are very few things I won't do at least once, and I plan on doing some long-distance hiking in the not to distant future.

PHILOSOPHY

To live well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a fair amount of bluegrass (yonder mountain, hot buttered rum, greensky bluegrass), grateful dead, josh ritter, andrew bird, sufjan stevens, and am going through a bit of an indie phase, including the decemberists, radiohead, badly drawn boy, built to spill, and elliott smith. Classics are good to, bill withers, rolling stones, led zepplin, beatles, chili peppers. I'm usually open to anything that isn't gansta rap or mindless country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paddling a canoe among beluga whales in the Hudson Bay was pretty incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will gladly talk your ear off about wine, have dabbled in homebrewing, and like to think that I know my way around a bicycle. I have a bit of canoeing and backpacking experience and am looking forward to expanding that. If you have something interesting you'd like to show me, I'd love to see/learn it!
