About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to enjoy myself while I transition from graduating from university into the real world. So far I have been living life by traveling around Europe!

ABOUT ME

I am a very tall, very easy going guy. I am sociable and love to meet new people and try new things. There are very few things that I do not like or am not willing to try. I was born in Michigan but have lived most of my life in Grayslake, Illinois (Chicago suburb). I graduated with a Bachelor's of Biochemistry and am currently working in the Performance Substrates Lab at United States Gypsum Corporation.

PHILOSOPHY

"When I start to get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True Story." ---Barney Stinson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only been a surfer, but once I get a permanent place of residence I plan on hosting people!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has been nothing but a satisfyingly exciting adventure. All of our hosts have been more than helpful and very nice and outgoing. I love meeting new people and learning about new countries and their cultures!

Interests

I am a pretty big sports fan including all NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA (football, basketball, basebal). My top teams are the Vikings, Bulls, Notre Dame, Twins, Indians,Blackhawks, and Cavs. I played 4 years of ultimate frisbee in college so I'm pretty interested in that. I also am a lover of movies and TV of which I watch a lot of both. I finally joined the billions of college kids and got a Xbox 360 recently so I also enjoy my share of video games. Others include:playing sports, having fun, meeting people, being tall, and going out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much like all movies, especially action/thriller, comedy, animated, documentary, drama, and even a couple chick flicks thrown in there. If I had to pick some of my favorites it would be Back to the Futures, Star Wars, Ace Ventura, Ocean's 11, Se7en, Harry Potter, and everything in between. Same goes with music, basically anything except screamo/face melting death metal. Eminem, Blink 182 are right at the top and in recent years I've learned to love country. Can't believe CS doesn't wanna know what TV shows I like but I'll just tell you anyway: How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Lost, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Family Guy, Californication, Entourage, Hey Arnold, Boy Meets World, Chappelles Show, South Park, Sportscenter, ,Prison Break, etc...
