Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student from Maryland, currently on a road trip.
I have traveled from Turkey to Mexico, from the U.S. to a small Norway island. I have camped, sailed, met hundreds of new people and built lifetime memories.
After all, who cares about the buildings? I say.
I play guitars and piano, broadcast a radio show and try to finish up my novel as well as conducting academic research on dark side of leadership. I have been an exchange student at University of California Berkeley so lived in San Francisco Bay Area for about a year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Let's think about a turist. They go to a 5-star hotel, some paid-turist-guides show them around to the pre-arranged places and make them shop from the comission-based shops.
No, when I travel, I want it to be a more unique experience. To be a visitor in your life, be a part of your life, I mean, the belonging is what I expect from traveling. A world citizen, all we are, with small variations.
Interests
I play guitar, read books, listen music, write a music blog, previously a disc jokey in a local radio station, talk with people, travel.
Music, Movies, and Books
There are so many great music, movies, and books, how can I ever list them, or will this place be enough for this, unfortunately not.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can play guitars. Share ideas about the life, or just make jokes.
I do not know if you are interested, but I can teach you Financial Accounting, Microeconomics or Organizational Behavior if you are interested :P
