I am a 19 years old Erasmus student in Coimbra/Portugal. I was born in Turkey but I am not your stereotypical Turkish guy. I would like to refer myself as a ''World Citizen'' which is not restricted by the boundaries of nationalities, religion or tradition. I always try to expand my perception of the world through meeting different people and seeing different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like big tours with staying in the hotel and following the guide everywhere he goes. The real adventure is inside the city and locals. That's the spirit of travel!

Interests

I played football in an amateur league, had lessons on table tennis and parkour.
I started playing drums 8 years ago when I was in middle school. But I did not play only drums, I played bongo, tomtom, yogurt buckets (more of this when we meet (: ) and a bass drum in an orchestra.
I did theatre in high school played 2 big 3 small games and more than 20 times at the stage.
Oh! And I really like video games :)))

Music, Movies, and Books

I have my own playlist in spotify referring to the moods and emotions. I dont have any particular favorite songs instead I listen to them when I feel a specific emotion. I am also eager to share my playlists with people :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It really depends on the way you describe ''amazing''. If it means something like ''adrenaline based'' I used to do parkour and doing scuba diving. If it means ''helping others and animals'' I do that on a regular basis. If it means ''art'' I used to do theater and I play drums. I have been on stage more than 20 times. So there is no ''one amazing thing'' I have done in my life. I have done a lot of things and most of them I think they are amazing.

I think I can play almost any kind of percussion instrument and can teach you some of my favorite groves.
I am a young body and spirit. But it doesn't mean that I don't have cool stories :) I would like to share all that I can remember.
