ABOUT ME

Librarian and archivist turned homeless street outreach worker in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US. I love my dog, Gus, more than anything. I like to cycle, hike, camp, read, do taxidermy, spin yarn, and do natural dyeing with plants. I love music, museums, nature, food, biking, and hiking. I am queer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have spent many parts of my life traveling and have couch surfed and hosted in the past. I like meeting new people and learning about the world.

I did Peace Corps in the small village of Brnakot in far southern Armenia from 2008-2010.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit, how to play cribbage, how to spin yarn or how to make various kinds of cookies. I can also take you out birding, hiking, museum/library/archives visiting, or biking. I like to learn about the relationships of people and nature wherever I go. I want to share a passion for social justice and making the world a better place by working to empower people and communities.
