About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figure out life

ABOUT ME

Back in Switzerland after a long distance hiking trip in the US. Planning to settle down there for a while. Until I figure out the next adventure.
Obviously I love travelling. Spending several days in the wild, walking and camping, is my idea of the perfect trip. I fell in love with Australia some years ago and can't wait to go back.
I'm curious, passionate, funny and a bit crazy.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have been instructed where to go and what to do."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been given so much during my travels that I'd love to pay forward my now huge karma debt by hosting people. Unfortunately where I live now it's not possible so I compensate by being an amazing host when I couchsurf. And I mean it, I bring swiss chocolate with me...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No hosting experience yet but I surfed three couches and it was great, I'll definitely do it again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: Big Fish and Amelie because they're about the magic that is sometimes missing in life.
Music: Florence and the Machine, John Butler Trio, Paolo Nutini, Nneka, Carrousel...
Book: Je voudrais que quelqu'un m'attende quelque part by Anna Gavalda (I would like someome waiting for me somewhere) A friend offered it to me before I left for my first trip and after a while on the road I felt these words were so true.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French. I'm quite a good cook. And we can share travel stories, I'm always looking for inspiration for my next destination.
