About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living my dreams

ABOUT ME

Optimistic. Energetic. Adventurous.

I always try to live my dreams and I'm constantly making plans for the future. I'm afraid of getting stuck in one place and love to travel and to experience new things, see places I haven't been to before and meet interesting people.

I just moved to Brasilia to carry out an internship at the Swedish Embassy, looking so much forward to the experience and to live and get to know the Brazilian culture, music and of course portuguese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is really the people I've met that makes a place stick in my memory. Couchsurfing is the best way to meet all you interesting people out there, that I would probably never meet otherways.

As I'm living only for a short period in a shared apartment, I can't offer a couch at the moment. I've though made a promise to myself that whenever I get the chance, there'll be a free couch for you surfers! Until then I would love to meet up for a coffee or drink if you ever come to Brasilia!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've been surfing six couches; in London, Valencia, Marseille and Saint-Malo. I have also met up with a couple of people for a coffee, concerts and more, all of which have been great fun!

Interests

Travelling (surprised?!). Dancing (tango, salsa, swing etc..). Meeting inspriring people. Philosophizing. Cultures. Spending hours in old book stores. Learning new languages. Food (cooking and eating!), eating out. Exploring new music. Drinks with fresh fruit. Going to concerts and other events. Sports. Rollercoasters. Strolling around aimlessly in town. Having tea or drinks with friends. Weekend markets.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is very important to me - I'm open to new things, but I epecially love latinjazz and all other jazz, funk, blues, swing, soul, salsa, bachata, latin, african and rock. Live is the best! And I love to dance!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010 I went backpacking on my own in South America for 6 months and I saw so many amazing things. The world's greatest water falls Iguazú in Argentina/Brazil/Paraguay, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Carribean sea in Colombia, the djungle in Bolivia, the huge salt flats in Bolivia, the world's dryest desert in Chile, the southernmost city in the world (Ushuaia) in Argentina....

But honestly, it is the people I meet that make the place.

Every day I am amazed by something or someone, and that´s the great thing about traveling and of living!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to discuss all kinds of things and especially to learn and see new perspectives. I could teach Swedish and dance some tango :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I couchsurf I really do it with the hope of getting to know new people and the place where they live. I respect everyone's time and space, but hopefully we'll have time to see the city/place together and share discussions and do fun stuff!
