About Me
CURRENT MISSION
taking in experiences, finding my life path, digging into the soil and growing things in as many places as possible, meeting people who see the world and have the same respect for it as i do, spreading the message of gaia love
ABOUT ME
i'm currently doing some farm hopping, trying to figure out if the farm life is a path i want to continue on. so far i've been exploring social justice and food justice as possible life paths. my most recent long term city dwelling was in chicago, where i spent three or so years working for a low wage worker justice organization fighting for the rights of workers and helping out an amazing urban agriculture organization.
i'm canadian, but have found myself spending alot of time in the states probably because there are so many amazing grassroots, forward-thinking things going on there right now.
PHILOSOPHY
my plan is to learn and absorb as much as possible from as many places as possible that draw me. in turn i want to bring all i've learnt back to create positive and sustainable social change.
Interests
i love Papermaking, felting, crocheting, silkscreening, photography (film and digital), music, yoga, herbal healing, making salves/herbal infusions, incense, arts and crafts, biking, urban/guerrilla gardening, grassroots/community/direct action organizing, systematic social change, facilitation/mediation, food security, food politics, fermentation, making kombucha, making cheese/yogurt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
attended a circumcision party in a rural village in northwestern turkey. the entire village came out for the celebration for this six year old boy, even supposedly two rival families who have a history of not liking eachother. food and drink was provided, especially raki, turkeys national drink. i got to dance, turkish style, infront of the whole village.
