About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm curious about things, I often find at least one thing a day that I feel the urge to find out more of (even if it's just looking up in Wikipedia) - often trivial, random piece of information, but nonetheless, it's nice that there's always something new for you to find out. I guess that's why I love traveling - I love meeting new people and seeing, tasting and experiencing new things.

Typical weekend for me would be sleeping in on a cold winter morning, if the sun's out, then I'll be out hanging out with my friends. I enjoy dance - I love dancing salsa and I'd love to learn to tango when I get the chance

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had awesome CS experience in my recent trip to USA. I'd love to show those visiting my city, or just as much would love to just hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best times traveling around in North America - met so many genuine, fun people through CS. And now that I'm back home in NZ, made some really good friends via the local CS scene!

Interests

Food & drinks - and I love to try out local specialties and something I haven't tried before, I'll try anything at least once!

Movies - I quite like watching films especially international ones - it's sort of like experiencing another part of the world in the comfort of your own couch

Salsa (the dance, i do like the sauce also, but I wouldn't call it something that I like to eat/make in my spare time) - I've been dancing salsa for a while and I love it!

Books - last one I started and finished reading was Catch 22, and that was a while back, I'd love to start on another one, but just can't seem to find the time recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing scenery that i've seen was at Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia - it rained the night before and the surface was filled with just enough water to reflect the sky above. Truly beautiful, it's my happy place
