About Me

A few details about me:
• Lone wanderer (mostly)
• Queen of peace and tolerance (but extremely intolerant of ignorance)
• Kitten Mom
• Cinemaholic (oh holy moly Tarantino, Lubezki, Kubrick, Lynch and other masterpiece-makers!)
• Lyricist with a physicist's heart
• Feel alive when close to the madness

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste mostly depends on the mood I am in and changes all the time. There are some artists that hold a special place in my heart: Muse, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Florence and the Machine, Jack White and White Stripes, Bjork, Of Monsters and Men, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Hozier, Kaleo and many others. Absolutely gig-addicted, untreatable.

As mentioned earlier, I'm a movie geek. Don't favor any particular genre in cinematography 'cause it has so many hidden treasures, has so many to open and show. Anyway, some of my favorites that came to my mind first: Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, A Clockwork Orange, Samsara, Baraka, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Vertigo, Ugetsu monogatari, Moulin Rouge, La La Land, I origins, Donnie Darko, Interstellar, Star Wars, GOT, Twin Peaks, Cloud Atlas, Black Mirror, etc.

I've always loved reading, especially classical russian literature of the XIX-XX centuries. Great stories stand for ages: Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left everything and moved across the whole country (approx. 9,000 km) with no job, no friends, and no real plan in mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wide-open conversations (no topic is off limits, really), random stories, sick jokes, some russian cuisine recipes and goodies (why not?), travel experience and recommendations for music, movies and books (yeah, I'm freakin' good at it).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Russian Federation
