ABOUT ME
I'm a Malaysian, working and residing in Singapore. Occupation--copywriter.
I'm rather spontaneous and always enthusiastic. I like chunky rings, cotton candy and window seats. A nature junkie plus food addict. I love to dance and sing. I jump around, I fall down.
Currently into dip dye hair and online shopping. I drink two, sometimes three cups of coffee a day. My faith is important to me and I serve as much as I can in church, especially in the music ministry.
I like to write and wonder but more so, I'd like to wander.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A rather impromptu, spontaneous decision was made to visit Paris for a day, all by myself! I took a bus from Cologne, Germany at 6am and arrived in this ever-popular city around noon. First on my list was to see the Eiffel Tower. And I did. It was simply beautiful, much more appealing to my naked eyes than seen on a TV screen or on the cover of a book. Next, I hopped on a subway (illegally, haha!) and arrived in front of Notre Dame, which equally took my breath away. A good hour was spent inside the cathedral and later I did some souvenir shopping, bought these Eiffel Tower keychains for less than 1 Euro amongst other things.
And then it hit me, I'm. in. PARIS! Home to Laduree, the lovely pastry shop selling the most exquisite sets of MACARONS! I salivated as I ponder on the possibility that I would taste these babies. So I walked around, asking friendly french locals of the location of this shop. HAHA! And finally, I found it! I was so happy! I bought myself two bite-size pieces of these yummies - Chocolat Passion and Cafe. Shown above is the Cafe macaroon, which is basically coffee-flavoured. I ate them at a park nearby, overlooking Arc de Triomphe, which I later walked up Avenue des Champs-Elysees to reach. Then I walked from the Arc to Eiffel Tower again, and sat there in the evening light to just gawk at the Tower.
It was almost 9pm. And when the clock stroke, dots of lights sparkled across the Eiffel Tower like burst of camera flashes, deadly to anyone diagnosed with epilepsy. All in all, it was a great day. Took a bus back to Germany that night. Wish I could have stayed longer in this charming city but I know I'll be back one day.. maybe for a cup of coffee or two, and a box of macarons! ;)
