About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find hosts in Barcelona, Spain for March 28-June 13

ABOUT ME

I live in Portland, Oregon where I love to sew, cook vegan food, soak up rare moments of sunshine, read, write, and meet people. I've recently come out of my shell a bit and am thriving on the connections I make on a day to day basis. I love animals and new experiences. I want to be Anais Nin.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a low impact lifestyle. I eat mostly a mostly vegan diet, travel by bus, foot or bike, love the environment, and try to be concious of everyone around me. I believe everyone deserves equal rights regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. I try my best to be kind to each person I meet, and love animals so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Getting familiar with the website as I plan my trip to Barcelona. Hoping to meet inspiring folks that will show me what makes their city amazing. I will be couch surfing during my entire trip and am also looking to make connections that may lead short term housing. I can't wait to get to know you!

I clean up after myself, am low maintenance, and respectful. I like to help with pets and can cook up some tasty vegetarian food in exchange for a couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to a experience a direct couch surfing experience with this website (I've just signed up) but have had many outside experiences hosting and surfing. I am currently couch surfing in Portland, OR until my trip to Barcelona. Within the last month I have stayed in spare rooms and on couches in Florida and Indiana, slept on an air mattress in a friend's library, and am now house sitting a beautiful colonial house! I am loving my independence and had so many wonderful experiences.
