About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See life through the eyes and hearts of the locals.
ABOUT ME
There was a quote in Breakfast with Tiffany's by Truman Capote that made perfect sense.
"I noticed that the mailbox belonging to Apt 2 had a name-slot fitted with a curious card. Printed, rather Cartier-formal, it read: Miss Holiday Golightly; and underneath, in the corner, Travelling. It nagged me like a tune: Miss Holiday Golightly, Travelling."
I want to be: Miss Cassandra Lee, Travelling.
Travelling to me, is about the people you meet. It is about sitting around in cafes and talking to random locals; staying in their homes and seeing how they interact with people… Listen to their stories and truly seek to understand where they are coming from.
Why do I love traveling so? Perhaps, because there is no such thing is as strangers… Only friends you haven’t met. And that's why I couchsurf.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel, Eat, Snap- And love all. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering at an orphanage in Myanmar (Burma). The children stole my heart. I was really blown away by Myanmar simply because it is one of the most misunderstood and poorly portrayed countries in the world. But the people are the nicest and most sincere I've ever met.
That and paragliding over the cotton castles in Turkey.
My bucket list includes skydiving, scuba diving, a hot air balloon ride, bungee (although I think I might need someone to push me off because I actually have a fear of heights), cliff-jumping... and the list is really never-ending.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn languages when I'm travelling. Don't know many languages, just a bit here and there. But my first language is English and I do know Mandarin, so I guess we can learn languages from each other!
