ABOUT ME

I am from Ottawa, Canada, and have always been looking for a new adventures either in new places or inmy own city. I am very polite, considerate and talkative! I love to travel and meet people but I also love the simplicities of home: home cooked meals, playing sports with friends, bonfires, beach parties, and spending time with family.
I am an avid back country camper, canoist and thru-hiker. I am most at home on a trail through a forest.

I believe in the kindness of everyday people and the power of being positive. Not sweating the small stuff and enjoying what's on order in any moment.

PHILOSOPHY

I avoid negative people, and believe that 99.9% of people are truly nice and simply want a happy life.

Update 2022
I have now moved to London UK, and have a spare room in Notting Hill and can’t wait to start hosting couchers again!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am so lucky to have a 5 bedroom house in central Ottawa, and I just want to fill the rooms with interesting people. I feel like Sally Field from Forrest Gump sometimes. :) We like to cook with our surfers and have dance parties or chill out in the backyard with our friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted over 110 surfers over the years, from all over the world. I want to collect you all!
Haven't stayed at someone's house yet but hope to do so soon! Every time we've had someone stay with us, it's been a wonderful experience. Surfers have taught me that my own home town of Ottawa is an amazing city worth exploring.

I'm a full time athlete who runs, bikes and swims whenever I can. I enjoy long distance hiking and canoeing.
I play volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and soccer. I love a good game of euchre, especially when I've had a few drinks!

I love to read books out loud and tell stories around the campfire.
I love to listen to all types of music, from classical and opera, to folk and hip hop, and recently into vintage reggae and Motown.

Been to 25 countries around the world. Lived in 5 of the most expensive cities in Europe before I learned better of it.

I used to do ironman triathlons so can help with endurance sports training.
I have 11 years of sales experience and have consulted on B2B sales all around the world
