ello! This is Adoette, or Addie if it's easier for you

I'm the daughter of two Military parents but I ended up being raised on nudist colony in Castro valley, and then moved to the east coast and eventually to Philadelphia to pursue a college education. I'm starting to question the practicality of this countries' educational system and so I feel the need to take some time off, travel and figure out exactly what I want to do with my life and if I even want to pursue a career.
That was then. I have since thrown away all of my belongings, quit my job and school and decided to travel for The rest of my life/ however long it takes to see most of the world/ all the places I am interested in going to! Looking forward to seeing Africa and central y south America and turkey the most! And I want to meet amazing people and become great friends with them along the way!
And eventually reject all of humanity settle down in the wilderness to be a creepy hermit living self sustainedly.

I do love red wine and mead....and cheap vodka....and good rum from time to time and when it's that time, i love it so much! Im socially awkward and rather shy but im working on being more sociable

PHILOSOPHY

the purpose of life is to live and so that's what I'm trying to do. I still have a lot to learn and i cant stress enough how I absolutely have no idea what the fuck I'm doing but it's as it should be and I'm exctited for the places I've yet to go and the person I'm yet to be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just heard of this site from my good friend Dan Vetrano, who apparently was an "important" figure within the couch surfing community. haha but he was very involved and suggested it to me so I hope to become more involved.

Starting in October, I will be be traveling through-out Europa and
north africa if i can and Turkey, and eventually a good portion of The world, but starting in Spain. I look forward to meeting new people,learning much and seeing new things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted Jean Remi in early july of 2010, he was my first surfer and so much fun!
my second surfer was not so fun because I felt uncomfortable around him.....
and paty was awesome,thank you paty for making my first overseas experience so pleasant!!

Interests

science, poetry, ceramics, reading,history, philosophy, sewing, pretty much all the arts and constructive/creation activities(even construction and metal work) animals, nature, CLIMBING TREES!!! i adore trees! street musicians/performers, Ballet! Opera!! Flamenco, hiking and stuff

I am in love with the cello!

I will eventually learn Russian,because I think it's the most beautiful romantic language. I hope to one day be completely fluent in Spanish and I am only learning French so that I can go back to Petin (spain) and talk to the absolutey insane and interesting old man who paints everything red and I want to be able to ask him something other than "pourquoi rouge?"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crashed a fancy party at the Honorary Consulate of Romania's place while looking like a bum; The sunset; The god-like Sequoia trees of semi-northern California; tricked a fire-fly into believing I was a tree; Climbed the massive statue in front of the Phildelphia Musuem of Art, lived on a boat for a bit, Snatched a fly out of the air by it's wing .......I'll think of more later.....;3
