Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
been a host up until this present moment, become friends with surfers and then stay with them. This last year (2014-15) was a surfer for the first time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
a chance to share home base with other peripatetics, being reminded there is no right way, only different ways to do everything! Keeping me honest about my own dustbunnies in the brain.

creating objects of use and beauty from what people toss away. showing others that they have gifts to share. being inspired and inspiring. curious about how and why things work. love of the sun & sea. hugging trees at will. finding ways to make every moment enjoyable, finding interest in details.

traveled in China and Tibet in 1985 when first opened to individual travelers & permits were needed for most interesting sites. cycled out at dawn for a sky burial where vultures were called down to eat the body.
