I recently finished my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at McGill university. I love travelling, and am super excited to have the chance to do some more now that I've finished school!

Along the way, I met this amazing human to whom I'm now happily married. We are just starting to have travelling adventures together and we are so excited!

I feel the most myself when I am immersed in nature. Some of my favourite outdoor activities include rock climbing, hiking, camping and, stargazing, but I am certainly not limited to those! I will try almost anything at least once. I also love being active as I've played a multitude of sports my entire life. Aside from that, I'm very easy going and enjoy reading a good book, cooking and playing board/card games.

Having done a bit of travelling, we want to steer away from the typical tourist attractions and experience the beauty and culture of the world through the eyes of a local. Sure, the tourist stuff is fun sometimes, but we want to go deeper than that. We're hoping to find those opportunities on couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Courchsurfing is a great way to see the world in a way that the average traveller doesn't. My experiences thus far have been extremely positive and I look forward to the day that I have a place large enough to be able to host surfers myself!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock is my favourite but I listen to pretty much every genre of music!

I love comedies and action movies, and I'm a sucker for a good ol' Disney movie.

Fantasy or crime novels are my preference, but I'm open to anything. Currently working through a Dance with Dragons (George R. R. Martin) and the Dragonlance books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tried Vegemite... It's not so bad! I also used to play quidditch.

Not to mention (except here I am, mentioning them... oops), I've tried bungee jumping (Cairns, Australia), sky diving (Byron Bay, Australia), and base jumping by wire (Auckland, New Zealand).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love playing cards and would be happy to teach! Being a camp counsellor has been my favorite job that I've had so far (so much for my chemical engineering degree..) and one of the best parts of that job is sharing your experiences with campers to helping them grow so I'm always up for sharing things that I've learned as well as learning new things myself!

What I Can Share with Hosts
