ABOUT ME

I have just had the most life changing trip around various countries in Asia meeting some wonderful people and experiencing different cultures. I absolutely loved my first big trip travelling which took 4 and half months, can't wait for the next one! My journey took me through the countries of Saudi Arabia, Oman, U.A.E, India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. Each country had their own unique way of life which I loved getting learning about whether it was through food, transport, language or people. My highlight has to have been a 10 day trek in Nepal to Annapurna Base Camp where I saw the everyday Nepali lifestyle and the most amazing views imaginable of the Himalayas.
All in all the people who I met from all over the world were the best bit of my travels because I learnt so much and had so many experiences and conversations with people that I will never forget.
In the future I hope to be able to have enough time and money to be able to experience many other parts of this incredible world.
For now it is concentrating on studying for my degree in biochemistry at the university of Reading, then hopefully Latin America.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy and have no regrets. I think happiness is very important, some people think it comes in the form of a lavish lifestyle and money however worldwide many people show that happiness comes from friends and family although they have nothing else.

On my travels I have met people from CS but haven't used it too much as I was meeting people everyday wherever I went.

Interests

Right now my main interest is traveling which I am enjoying a lot. In particular I like meeting people from all over the world who all have many different stories to tell. Apart from traveling I am very interested in science and how things work, I like to be able to learn things by reading new, interesting books.
I played hockey for many years and really enjoyed the sport, I play the position of goalkeeper however I haven't played in a little while and hope to start playing again soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music and generally just listen to the music that is popular however I am quite liking American country music at the moment. As for films I like a good old rom-com or chic flick. Bridget Jones will always be a favourite.
