ABOUT ME
I grew up and went to college in western Oklahoma. My wife and I bought a house in a suburb of Oklahoma City five years ago. She works as a pharmacist and we have two really cool dogs.
Currently I run an after school art program for kids who live in Oklahoma City public housing. I also make and sell art. Hopefully I will be teaching art or social studies full time by next fall.
We just bought some raw land near Oklahoma City and plan to spend the next year building a sustainable home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like documentaries and independent films.
I love and hate music in every genre.
I read fiction and nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many of the national parks like Grand Canyon, Teton, Yellowstone, Bryce, Rocky Mountain. I'm a huge fan of New Mexico as well as my own state of Oklahoma. I traveled to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and loved it. Last summer I spent time on the Lake Michigan coast in Michigan and really enjoyed it. I usually find something that amazes me in most places I go.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a photographer and I'm really involved with the local art community.
I've lived in Oklahoma for the last 27 years and I love my city and state so I'm always glad to share knowledge about my home.
