ABOUT ME

I've done a lot of traveling but it's all a blur. I have been in Canada since 2006, missing my European adventures. After travelling I finished my university degree, set a career for myself and got on with life. My partner and I recently decided to both change jobs and move to a new part of Canada! We lucked out by getting an amazing rental that I feel we need to share with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My partner and I just moved to the Okanagan in Feb. 2013. He works out of town for two weeks at a time, I work as a nanny but that position is only part-time. We are open to have company/surfers and are willing to see new sights with them since we are also new to the area. We do have 3 cats. We rent a 2 bedroom and it has a wonderful view. The surfer's room has a double bed, there is room for 2 (or 3 or 4 if you want to sleep on the floor). There is a dock and beach down a path here and a peach orchard is our neighbour! There are bus stops nearby, you can actually walk downtown across the huge bridge to Kelowna, it would likely take about 45 min. We are just West of the bridge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Scotland and Switzerland and enjoyed saving money and seeing what 'home' is like in another country.
