About Me

* I live in America and am surrounded by Americans. Not interested in hosting Americans. * I'm originally from Michigan but have lived in Colorado for four years. I love Boulder, and would love to share this magical, spiritual, creative place with interesting souls from around the world. Trails are four blocks away, Pearl St. is five, Boulder Creek is six blocks away. Two of my cousins live here in town and we often hang out with an extended family of friends and colleagues primarily in the Tech space. I work at Inspiring Apps, a small software agency. My focus is building apps for the iPhone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet local people. I've been stunned by the authenticity, generosity and kindness from hosts all around the world. They've been my most memorable and formative travel experiences. I have a great space in Boulder to host one or two surfers, with relative privacy and central location.

Interests

Some ideas for your visit:

- It's an easy bus ride to Nederland where Marijuana is literally the currency of this sleepy mountain town.
- If the pool is open Eldorado Canyon Spring Pool is insanely beautiful and fun.
- I love to skateboard, and Boulder is an awesome place to do it. I can show you my favorite routes.
- There's an outstanding Ashtanga studio in town called Yoga Workshop. If you're familiar with Ashtanga or have a practice, visiting this studio is a must. Asley, Stuart and Ty are all world class teachers of this artform, with the founder (Richard Freeman) a direct lineage to the origins of Ashtanga. Richard was a student of K. Patthabi Jois in Mysore, India.
- The cirque center is a group of weirdos doing plays, acro-yoga and circus stuff.
- There are meditations at the Shambhala center and Dharma Ocean
