To meet wonderful people from far & near...

ABOUT ME

We are grabbing the bull by the horns and giving our dream a shot! We have both left our jobs behind, sold the house & anything else that wouldn't fit into our 2010 38' 5th wheel travel trailer (See photos). We will be traveling on a budget inside and outside of the US for as long as we can stand it or until the cash cow sings! We plan on RVing in private campgrounds/state & federal parks, driveways (maybe yours?), camping, couch surfing, house sitting, backpacking and renting small furnished apartments or rooms in far away places.We enjoy experiencing life, laughing, dancing, mountain bike riding, visiting beautiful lakes & parks, juicing our favorite fruits & vegetables, grilling out, sushi, sharing a frosty beverage & great conversation with new and old friends, scuba diving, taking ocean cruises and of course plane rides to foreign places.We do keep life rather simple, no kids, no pets, no drama and plenty of good times!

PHILOSOPHY

Just be yourself and the rest will fall into place! There is no topic that is taboo or off-limits in our company. Communication is the key to life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We really enjoy hosting surfers and attending CS events!! (See photos) We have made some great friends along the way! In 2012 we plan on surfing our first couches in Europe and other wonderful places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had a few surfers stay with us in our RV (recreational vehicle aka caravan) and have been to a few local gatherings. What a great expereince!

Interests

We are as open minded about this subject as any other. We enjoy Country, Rock & Roll, Techno, some Oldies, and anything else we can scoot a boot to. Michelle enjoys a good book that she can get a hearty laugh out of, and if you are a fan of "The Matrix", you will find a life long friend in Richard!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We quit our jobs so that we can travel full-time on a budget! We had to sell everything to do it but it was a feeling of great accomplishment and humility for what we realized we could live without.

Teach, Learn, Share

We might not be seasoned travelers just yet but we like to think we know a thing or two about getting around this world on a budget while staying relatively healthy and in shape. We have plenty of stories that will keep anyone entertained for a little while and are always opened to learning other's secrets for living a life that is worth living!
