Hi, my name is Jenni, I am from Germany and I am an empowerment educator and a dancer and I love to combine these two passions: Teaching selflove through dancing and coaching is my passion. And because I am so interested in different cultures and their specific problems I travel a lot and search for ways how to put an impact on that culture or at least on some minds.
Mostly in Germany and Costa Rica (started a project there some years ago) I worked in many cultural centers and dance schools with different groups (from infancy through adolescents and adults) and single people in private lessons.
I mainly teach a mixture between High Heel dancing, Streetdance, Jazz with influences from HipHop, contemporary, improvisational dance, latin dance and and and. For me it's very very important that the students have fun, try something new, feel free and passionated, discover more about themselves.
Everything without any pressure. That's why I prefer to teach in cultural and alternative institutions like leisure centers, community colleges, sports clubs, etc. than in strict dance schools.
I also like to learn new languages as I was raised bilingual in a polish family and started to speak french in the age of 6 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed in at Couchsurfing, because before and during my first trip I heard good things about this website. So now I decided to make my own experiences.
I like to travel with locals and get to know the places from their points of view and I sometimes I use Couchsurfing as an inexpensive alternative to other possibilities since I do volunteering a lot.

Interests

Dancing of course! and yoga and I am a passionated nature lover. The nature is a place I feel save at. I don't need big cities, cars and noises. Just my nature - and I am happy. Arts, sports, books, plantbased food, concerts,healthy lifestlye, travel travel travel...

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite music: I don't want to seem boring, but as I mentioned earlier, I am a very open-minded person. Accordingly, I am also open to any kind of music.
But most of all I like indie rock, quiet soul music, also instrumental, music from the 80's and for years already reggae, roots and dancehall.

My favorite movie is "silver linings" and I like the movies from Quentin Tarantino. What a mix ;)
