ABOUT ME

When I'm not bringing about a revolution in the Japanese education system, I'm chillin on the beach or watching a movie to improve my Japanese. I grew up in the suburbs of upstate New York and was surprised to find, when I started college, that the world is a big beautiful oyster full of fascinating places and people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be hospitable to anyone who wants to come to this beautiful island. Being chosen for the JET (Japan Exchange Teaching) program and sent to Okinawa was like winning an all expenses paid three year vacation to Hawaii. But even better, because I have a fairly stress free job that I love. This place is definitely worth coming to, especially is you love the ocean and anything to do with it. I have a two bedroom apartment near the beach and one bedroom is collecting dust. Surf my couch and then surf the waves!
