ABOUT ME

I'm a 34 year old professional drummer based in New York City. I play mostly for musicals these days (it seems to be the steadiest work in the music business). Eventually I would like to play more jazz. I've toured all over America with musicals and recently got to tour in German-speaking Europe with one. 2 of my big hobbies are tennis and chess.

For now, I'd love to meet like-minded people on my travels and also meet people who are traveling in New York. I love showing visitors the many wonders of New York City. Eventually, hopefully I'll be able to host people...when I get a couch :)

I love jazz; some rock, such as Rush, Sting, Zeppelin; some pop, such as Billy Joel, James Taylor. I've been reading a lot of cultural studies books lately. I love David Foster Wallace's essays. My favorite piece of literature is "Don Quixote".
