About Me
Hello! My name is Oksana. I am 22. I come from Ukraine. I am currently studying at the university (English Philology. I've been to more than 15 countries what I am proud of (such as the USA, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, Italy etc.). My dream is to travel China and get to know their culture and lifestyle deeply(because I'm studying Chinese as well). Why am I travelling? Because it gives me a feeling of freedom and hapiness what is awersome. I just love it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to try Couchsurfing because that's gonna be some new travelling experience to me. I don't just travel and visit places, but also have nice chat and share all my knowledge about the world with local people from different countries. And of course, make new friends :) I believe that's gonna be the best experience ever!

Music, Movies, and Books
Here I can talk for ages....
Movies & Series
Oh, that's what I like. Actually, I love series more that movies, so I'll name my favourite series, top-5. If you like them as well, I'll have what to talk about:
1) Vampire Diaries/ The Originals/ Legacies (they are related because of similar storyline. I love all the characters, especially Klaus Michelson)
2) Supernatural (yep, I've watched all the 14 seasons)
3) Friends (impossible not to love them)
4) 13 Reasons Why (quite creepy series, sometimes hard to wach, but it's very memorable and after watching it I made some conclusions for myself)
5) Legends of Tomorrow (classical sci-fi, just amazing)
Books
I am a passionate book reader. But only when I have free time for it. I'll share my top-5 fave books:
1) The wife of time traveller ( I don't know why but this book stocked in memory, it is special to me in a way)
2) Memoirs of a Geisha (This book is full of Japanese culture that was in the past)
3)How to stop time (something about time travelling as well, that's what I like)
4)The Minds of Billy Milligan ( a story about a real person inside of whom live 23 personalities)
5) Lost - Gillian Flyn (That's book just awesome, never stops surprising me, but the film is much better)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm gonna tell some of them (maybe some of them are kinda weird):
- set off on a trip to the USA on my own (that was my first real experience)
- spend unforgettable summer in the camp as camp power
- visited 5 states for 2 weeks (that's 3178 miles)
- during the trip I missed a bus (just was 10 min late) that cost me $150
- visited 3 biggest amusemens parks (Disnayland, Universal Studios, Six Flags)
- planned a trip to the Netherlands and Belgium by myself which was unforgettable
- during this trip we were lost in the subway (because of Space Cake:)
and many others...
