Left Amsterdam in 2015 for a gap year; currently in my 4th gap year :) Had a fantastic time in Australia for the past 3 years and now happy to explore NZ! Generally the happiest around a watersource but I also love trees, mountains, festivals and can actually thrive in some cities.
Exploring remote hidden gems is my favourite activity, especially when there's some adrenaline involved. Love meeting people from all walks of life & genuine connections.

If it falls in the category of psychedelic, grunge, garage/ indie I'm often really into it. I listen to a large variety of genres though. Nirvana is my first musical love and is still one of my favourites.
Any movies by Lars von Trier, lots of Quentin Tarantino & Stanley Kubrick and keep watching Into the Wild over and over again lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting up at 6AM for a surf, there was none. Slightly disappointed, got myself on a SUP and paddled around the headlands; ended up being surrounded by 8(!!) Humpback whales. The most magical experience ever!
