Overview
About Me
I'm 22 years old, athletic, and live a vibrant life. I love going out for a fun night on the town, but it's also important for me to do other active things in my life. I've danced ballet/jazz/hip-hop most of my life, and the last two years have picked up Krav Maga.
I am in graduate school for psychology, and work part time as a personal-assistant.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a lovely life established in my home town of Santa Barbara, and I think I'm at that stage where I'm looking to diversify my hobbies that take me to new places on a college student budget.
The place I currently live in now doesn't welcome couch surfers (my roomies are more conservative minded, which is cool), but returning the favor for someone who's place I've stayed at is an easy thing to set up. Or if you have a real rad reason passing through town I could probably set you up for a safe place to crash for a night.
Interests
I love music, hiking, bouldering, snowboarding, dancing, stand up paddle boarding, reading, and cooking (sushi making included!).
I'm also a big fan of cultured experiences like the opera, symphonies, wine tasting, musicals, and live concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books
I believe there is a good song in every genre and it really depends on fitting the mood. I often catch myself rocking out to Billy Idol... or I can just list you my tops in the 25 most played on iTunes.
Making me nervous- Brad Sucks
Beat the Devil's Tatoo- Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Breezeblocks- Alt J
Million Voices- Otto Knows
Feel it in my Bones- Tiesto
Bad Motherfucker- Bitting Elbows
Higher- Destructo
Kokomo-Beach Boys
My absolute favorite movie is 50 first dates. My top shows are Archer and the Vikings!
Books... I mostly read peer-reviewed journal articles till my eyes bleed, but when I get a chance I get a break I bust out my kindle for some Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, Luxor novel series by Anna Godberg, or work my way through the GoT books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This may sound weird because there are a lot of amazing things I have experienced, but the most amazing this I think I have done was give up my seat on a bus for elderly lady. The gratitude look on her face was so priceless that it trumps everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: how to dance, make sushi, and maybe a bad joke or two.
Learn: to see love through someone's eyes
Share: A smile, and maybe some cookies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With my hosts I can share some household chores, stories, a meal or two, and a laugh.
