I graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2016 and am currently working for Cisco Systems as a software engineer. Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music, but am especially fond of progressive rock and metal. My favorite band for many years has been Dream Theater, although lately I've been listening a lot to Leprous, Gojira, Kendick Lamar and others.

I have a hard time picking favorite books, but in general have a soft spot for the fantasy genre. "American Gods", and "Sandman" by Neil Gaiman, George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams contain stories I enjoyed a lot. I also really liked "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas and I've read a couple of beautifully weird books by Haruki Murakami. I found John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" to be a difficult, but wonderful read.

The "The Lord of the Rings" movies, "Leon the Professional", "Get Out" are movies I liked a lot.
