Hi! ♥
My name is Oldřiška, but you can call me Ola (Yep, its pronounced the same way as Spanish ¡Hola!), because I wouldn't be so mean to force someone who's not Czech to deal with all the "řřřššš" things. I love meeting people and my favourite thing is people's passions and diversity! I don't care if someone is talking about music, travelling, changing tires, potatoes or soap operas, I just really enjoy talking to someone and seeing that he's excited!

I was born in a little hometown in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. I grew up in a terraced house with my 4 older brothers and parents and of course our doggos! I was attending elementary and secondary grammar school in my hometown. Two years ago I've left the hometown to study psychology at university in Brno. So now i live with six friends of mine in a flat in Brno and study psychology, which was my dream for a long time! Besides studying im having a parti-time job as a waitress and I'm also doing something like Art therapy workshops as a volunteer in the mental house for people with addiction. I'm also visiting one mental house for people with schizofrenia just to make them a company. I love spending time with people and cheering up people so I really enjoy both my job and my volunteering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love traveling and getting to know different cultures and new people. I think you can get to know towns and cities much better if you know someone local. You're not going to hear some actual stories about how it's like to live there if you stay in hotel. And I enjoy to get further than just to regular turism, seeing sights and so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to hate singing in front of people, it was literally the worst thing for me. But there was one choir at my high school and they were traveling a lot! So I pushed myslef to actually get there and face my fear and thanks to that ive visited most of the countries you can see in the list!
