ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ole from Bremen, a larger town in northwestern Germany. I passed my exams at school in summer 2012 and now I'm exploring other countries, their people and cultures before I start to study in April 2014.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered the CS-community just before I started my travels so I had no chance to share my couch with someone so far but I'll definitely do it soon!
In other words: At the moment I'm just taking from the community but I'll give something back later! :)

I just surfed once so far, but I joined some events & CS-meetings on my travels!

Interests

In the last time I got really addicted to: Traveling around the world, meeting amazing people from all around the world (and sometimes sharing a jug of beer with them ;) ) & exploring different cultures and lifestyles!

Back home in Germany I spent most of my leisure time with gliding, photography and of course "friends" - meeting them, watching a good movie with them, partying with them, etc.. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music (but who doesn't ;) ) and I listen to a lot of different kinds of music i.e.: Electro, Indie, Rock, DnB, Rap and a lot of german music you probably don't know (yet!).

It's kind of the same with movies.. there are so many great movies I would not even know where to start.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole time in New Zealand, the first big journey in my life, was one awesome experience made out of many small and big experiences!
One of my personal highlights:
The Copland Track: A 8h track up in the mountains to some natural hot pools.
When I arrived there totally exhausted I just jumped in the 37°C pool and stayed there for some hours, drinking a good beer (which I carried with me the whole trip up the mountain :P ) surrounded by snow-capped peaks and the milky way!
