About Me
Hey guys,
i havent been very active in CS over the last 2 years because i was very busy with work and university but now it is time to get back into the game and start hosting again! :)
I am a 29-year old guy from Aachen, Germany, and I am currently living in the beautiful city of cologne and I just graduated from university where i studied economics and politics over the last few years. I started couchsurfing on a huge trip around the United States and Australia a few years back and I just loved it. So now I try to host people whenever I can to give something back to community and to meet some interesting new people from all around the world.
I live with my girlfriend, who is also on couchsurfing. You can find her profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/kimgeffroy
So if you are in town looking for a couch or just for someone to have a beer with or a walk around the city, just send me a request and we will see if it works out.! :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my travels in USA and Australia i surfed lots of couches and met a bunch of awesome lovely people! Couchsurfing made this trip a wonderful unique experience!!! Since I am back in Germany now, i would love to give something back to the community and host people in cologne! I hope to meet more awesome couchsurfers and give people a place to stay in the great city of cologne!
i have been travelling in USA for 3 months and have been couchsurfing most of the time...it was amazing! i surfed in a lot of places, met awesome people, made new friends and every time i thought there could not be a better host my next host showed me that thats just not true! ;) also surfed some couches in australia and during my semester abroad in japan and I met some surfers whilst travelling! all in all: loving it! :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music, espacially rock, hiphop, dnb and dubstep, but i always like to say, there is no style of music which does not have at least a few good songs (except for german "volksmusik" maybe...). I play drums, guitar and piano myself, have played in a couple of bands over the time and I am always up for a little jam.
I prefer tv series over movies most of the time, but i also like to go to the movies or read a book, although i havent been reading as much as i used to..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hitchhiked down the us-westcoast from seattle to san francisco for a week. it was a great experience and a beautiful way to travel and meet nice people on the way! (i met a canadian guy with whom i travelled south for 3 days in his VW camper, slept on a boat in a harbor, etc)
made a one week tour to the national parks in southern utah with another couchsurfer from england...one of the most beautiful places i have seen so far, redommend it to anybody who hasnt been there!
edit: hitchhiked a lot more in australia: just the best way to travel and experience a country!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
i would love to teach people some basics in playing drumms, guitar or piano. besides that i am very interested in economics and like to discuss all kinds of theories and ideas regarding this topic! :D
I can also teach juggling with balls, clubs and rings if you are willing to learn it and have some time! :D
