Once i read a book by one ukrainian traveler, who had hitchhiked both Americas and i understood that it is the correct way to travel. I am seeking for local experinece to understand how people live in different countries.
For the first time i had such experience when coming to Germany for Masters studies. I had forgotten to get in touch with dormitorie's manager and it was possible that i'd have to spend a night outside, but a very kind fella from Switzerland let me in his room, found a mattress and helped to learn around the university.
That was a very impressive kindness which changed my understanding of humans.
