I'm a German living currently in the Netherlands, where I am following a research master in Developmental Psychology. To cut out all the boring details - I'm interested in how individuals create a sense of identity in social contexts. In my free time blog about food, do improv comedy, write and take pictures of things (mostly food)

I can not always host - but I'm always up for a coffee or showing you around town. And if you're in town on a Monday we can go to a fun comedy show together :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on here because I think that any place is best explored through the eyes of those calling it home. I'm looking forward to meeting cool new people and sharing a short of our lives together. I've always put up traveling because I was focusing on my studies - but I just recently turned a quarter century and realized that it basically is now or never.

兴趣

I'm interested in diversity and individual differences. I believe that we can make societies better places for everyone by recognizing our differences as opportunities. I'm a big foodie - moderate gym-goer - and improv comedian. I love to travel. If it came down to it I'd prefer a glass of wine at a quiet place to getting hammered in a big club.

Probably the only fan of ambiant music. Well... fan is a big word anyways. I mostly read scientific non-fiction (though in the lights of the latest academic scandals I wouldn't be too sure about that). And anything a little chick-flick, sci-fi or especially superhero (Marvel > DC) wins my heart.

Apart from endless optimism and positivity, I am a pretty decent cook, good listener and partner for heated debates. And I never get moody when I'm hungry, so that's a plus. I'm always up for telling a crazy story or two. And I'll stop now before this sounds too much like an e-cupid profile.
