Hey! I'm Olena and I live in a beautiful city of Kyiv — a place with old history, great coffee culture, unique diverse spirit and a curfew.

Travelling holds a very special place in my heart. Perhaps because it hasn't been easy to do — at first because of covid, and then because of russia. Still, I try to do it as often as possible.

Studying in a different city, I used to joke that I practically live in trains. Now I work in government communications, and one of the areas I'm responsible for — is railway transport. Joke on me!

My huge passion is music. I used to play the piano and the flute, and I even worked in a museum of musical instruments, so I can tell a lot of cool stories about music around the world.

I also recently got into bouldering. I absolutely suck at it — but at least I'm having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are diverse — I love a bit of jazz, a bit of folk, and good quality pop of course.

As for books — I'm a huge bookworm. Right now I have two main goals:
- to make my reading list more diverse and get to know other countries and cultures through literature,
- to read books from all the Nobel Prize laureates.
