Overview
About Me
I’m from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Currently living in the region of Transylvania in a quaint little town Sighisoara, since I'm volunteering in a European Solidarity Corps project.
I am a young teacher, a passionate volunteer and an avid fan of languages. Before that I was taking part in different volunteering projects and teaching English to kids, teenagers and even old grannies in the nursing home.
Fun fact about me: I know the word corkscrew in 8 different languages.
Traveling and getting new experiences is a big part of my life that brings to it joy and meaning.
I can seem shy at the beginning, however it just takes some time for me to get used to new surroundings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I truly believe that through this platform you can encouter people who may have various backgrounds, but are similar in their approach to life, people, enthusiastic about traveling and bringing some kindness into this world.
One of my biggest dreams is to visit Reykjavik and I'm going there with my friend, so we are both looking for a host.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Daft Punk (Discovery is the album that changed my life), Fred Again, Tame Impala, (house and electronic in general), the Cure, the Smith (post-punk), Brimheim (saved my menatl health), Black Country, New Road (Ants From Up There is a wholesome art experience).
Books: my attention span has been getting worse over the years, ahah, so I'd say I'm a fan of short stories by O. Henry and Ray Bradbury. Apart from that, I find "Fictions" by Borges mindblowing.
Films: Frances.Ha, 500 days of summer, at Eternity's Gate, Lost in Translation.
Series: Black Mirror, Severence.
