ABOUT ME

Graduated from St. Olaf College in May 2008. One of the highlights of my time at Olaf was when I spent a semester of my sophomore year in China. After graduation I returned to China for 2 years to be an English teacher. During that time I traveled to Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia. To the eyes of many I was living the life, but I wasn't completely satisfied. Decided to move back to the States in June 2010 to clear my head and really put a plan together for what I want to do with my life. The first thought that came to mind was that happiness had to be the driving force behind what I decided to do. Money was not the answer. Southeast Asia taught me that! So I came up with a plan that would allow me to see the world, but also play a part in changing it for the better. Phase 1 of my plan - move to Paris, France and become fluent in French. Living in Paris now and excited to see what new adventures await!
