Here I am on this webcite, because I would like to share my love for traveling! Sure enough, can't do it as often, as would like it, but still - we should live our dream, shouldn't we?

I've done a bit of traveling in Europe by now. Mostly in good company of friende, some - on my own, but every time meeting people in the countries I went to. I like meeting new friend, even if I might be a bit of shy at beginning, I always leave with new precious memories. Learning about different culture and lifestyle it is always so exciting. What can be better, that learning new things?

I am as for now working as optometrist at optics store, so I am pretty good at finding common language with different types of people. I am rather listener, that speaker, but if you get me to talk better watch out - I can speak for ages! I also struggle at university, while trying to get my PhD done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am keen on meeting new people during my traveling, I am rather looking for good company to have a nice chat and guide my though their cities.
I also look forward on greeting traveler in my own country and help them to get their way about in Riga.

Cultural exchange! I myself come from Russian-speaking family, but was born and lived all my life in Latvia, so that's two different cultures I can tell about. I like teaching and learning about national traditions, history and literature (funs for folklore!).
I am also studying vision science, so I can tell many thing about eyes and vision itself, that you probable never though of before
