Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still a newbie on Couchsurfing: tried it once and liked it. I see it as an opportunity to dive into the local life and see it from the inside.

Interests

I love love love traveling. Love all parts of it: surfing the web, planning the schedule, coming to the place, getting lost this new place, communicating with locals, watching their lifestyles, coming back home and checking pictures.

Among all the places which I visited I fell in love with Spain (Barcelona, hola, mi amor) and California. I started to learn Spanish, but lack daily practice, and never went beyond an average level.

I'm kinda workaholic and obsessed with my job of an IT marketer. So I spend most of my time at work.

When I do not work, I go to theatres, play board and mind games, try to get rid of eaten desserts in the gym, or just wander around my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I'm not a fan of one particular genre. My daily playlist includes some indie bands, old good rock, and k-pop. I truly enjoy classical music, used to play the piano and improvise a bit, Rachmaninov and Beethoven are my favourites.

Movies:
Right now like many others I spend a lot of time watching TV-shows. My favs so far: True Detective, House of cards, Friends (of course), Mr Robot, Suits, Tudors, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad. I fell like I won't be able to complete this list, so I'd better stop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organized a joint travel for my 26 friends and relatives. It was quite an adventure, I felt like a small travel agency, but enjoyed it.

Among the recent travel experiences - swimming with whale sharks. It was like WOW!

What I Can Share with Hosts

It'll depend on your mood.
A quiet relaxed evening, sipping wine and sharing stories from travels, enjoying yummy desserts - I'll cook or find the one you'd like.
A night walk around the city, dancing, taking crazy pictures, diving into bars - I'll treat you a drink if you don't mind.
Or maybe you'll prefer not to be disturbed.
It really depends. I try to be understanding and keep my eyes open to see what you may want at this point of time.
