I am Olga from Taiwan. I like to travel a lot. Since 2013 summer, I worked in Yellowstone National Park as an international student. I just fall in love with meeting people from all over the world. The next year, I went to the south of Taiwan and learn scuba diving and surfing. In 2015 I went to China with my sister and travel around.
Also, I did another seasonal job in Olympic National Park in 2015. After that, I went travel with my friend Sherri all around in the USA. My first Couchsurfing experience was in Oakland, California. My friend found a host and that's how I started. We also went to Miami, Boston, and New York.
In 2017 summer, I went to Finland to visit my sister who's an international student in Tampere. We traveled around Finland and we also took a ferry to Sanit. Pertersburg in Russia for 3 days. It was a really special experience to me.
My friend Sherri and I are planning to go to New Zeland in March, and we're looking a place to stay and meeting new friends when we're traveling.

I did it a few time with my friend when we were in America. It was great. I really like it so far.

Interests

I really enjoy reading Japanese comics and watching an animation. I can spend a whole day at my room and just read them. I know it doesn't sound like a person who likes to travel, but I do! I also like to watch movies and tv series. I think that's how I learn my English lol.
And the most important of all, I like to travel, to see the world, to hear different voices and to experience other cultures. It's the joy of life!

Music, Movies, and Books

My very favorite movie is Fight Club by David Finch. I remember the first time I watched. It's very violent but at the same time, it shows the real weakness of humanity. I was really shocked by the movie, since then, every time people ask me about movies, the movie Fight Club is always shown in my mind.
About music, I like to listen almost all kind of music. Recently, I played a lots Taiwanese Indie music. I found it very touching. Those songs and the lyrics sing out loud what we think and how we feel as a Taiwanese who are in this 21st century.
Recently I'm reading "Homo Deus. A Brief History of Tomorrow." by Yuval Noah Harari (and of course is in Mandarin Chinese version :P). I haven't finished it but I enjoy it so far. It's new ways to think of the world and people to me.
