ABOUT ME

I love the sunshine, it makes me a warm and people loving person. I'm on a continuous self-discovery journey, re-learning so many things in life! Peace, love and freedom are my greatest values and I'm still discovering the true meaning of them.

I love music + dancing + playing + movement. I started Capoeira Angola 1 year ago and all my heart is taken by its magic and power. I'm also learning to play pandeiro, berimbau and different kinds of drums. I love dancing to all kinds of music! I have some experience with "latin dances" and I'm happy to learn any new style. What I truly mastered is freestyle swinging and jumping around so just play some music and I'll find my flow! ;) I also train walking on a slackline (+open to other circus techniques). It would be great if we could actually do something together.

While traveling alone I'm looking for a connection with people and my own little discoveries . Don't need much: can sleep outdoors, in a tent, hitch-hike. My favourite part is walking around and getting to know the culture, participating in it, learning and experiencing as many new things as I can. I also enjoy expeditions with friends, like hiking in the mountains or sailing - the best way for a meaningful time together.

I love eating good food and of course making it with friends! My favourite is vegetarian (although I'm not one anymore), also all kinds of mediterranean cuisine and asian (thai!). Cooking is just another kind of art, I love to play with tastes and always ready to learn new things.

I care about environment, nature, I'm trying to be socially responsible and aware. I'm always happy to learn more about these topics. I hitch-hike ideologically :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the uni I was a member of AIESEC (international student organisation, www.aiesec.org), so I had been surfing and hosting 4 years before I learned about CS ;) I guess I had around 50 guests in total (both in Poland and Morocco), some staying for a day, some for a month... I always enjoyed it a lot, it made me start traveling myself. And since 2008 I'm officialy CSing throught this awesome website too :) It's been always awesome, the best learning life could ever give me.

I love learning new things and I'm very curious about everything in the world! I love passionate people who have a domain that they love talking about. I also enjoy listening to stories of people and their experiences, getting to know their lives, seeing the world through their eyes. This is definitely my biggest intestest.

My taste changes a lot... currently I'm into all afrobeats and capoeira music, cuban, brasilian music! I like Ceu, Antibalas, Gotan Project, Zaz, Ayo, Tracy Chapman, Love, all sweet songs in French - j'adore! Always: Bob Marley, Pink Floyd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm really touched by beautiful views, I love mountains for this reason. With a bunch of wonderful friends in Morocco we went on a trip to climb Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4167). We slept at the refuge at 3200m and that was "this thing" for me - the view, where during the day you are high above the clouds, just surrounded by the peaks, and at night you have all the greatest sky above you, with millions, trillions of shining stars and the rest of the surroundings hidden in complete darkness; where you are just alone with the nature, feeling so small and so great the same time, where air is so clean and water so tasty - this is it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I work in an alternative school (free school / democratic school / Montessori / NVC). So I'm really into discussing topics related to education, schools, learning, etc.... and recently parenting, too ;) I can teach your kids some languages, some mathematics, writing - this is what I do every day. Besides I know how to make a few polish traditional dishes... Or I can make an origami swan for you and teach you how to make one too :)

I'd love to learn dancing with fire!!! I enjoy all circus techniques, learning to juggle, to walk on slackline now. Maybe some hints on playing guitar/drums/singing cuz I'm still a beginner in all of them. Also I have fun learning all possible dances. And cooking :)
