I’m someone who pursues beauty in the simple things of life. I like noticing the textures and smells of my surroundings and napping in sun spots.

I’m fairly cat-like, quiet on the outside…however contradictory to my introvert nature, I tend to have random bursts of outgoingness and I enjoy trying new things. I’m the sort of person who would order the item on the menu that I know nothing about, but hey it sounds interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it’s a great way to meet locals, and I found that experiences are more valuable than through a typical tourist’s eye.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to all sorts of music, but i seem to lean most towards soul, motown and triphop. I also love hearing live music, cello, harp and drums are my fave.

Movies: I love any sappy happy (think disney) and day in the life (think Julie Delpy films) or colourful and profound. Amelie and Samsara are my faves.

Books: Ironically unlike my happy movie choices, I like to read futuristic Dystopian Brave New World type novels
