About Me
I live in Saint Petersburg almost for five years and do love this city as a hometown. I work as a jounalist: write about people, arts, cinema and architecture. To me, work and lifestyle is the same thing. There is no time border between work and rest. I believe that everytime you meet and interview people, watch movie, read book, search for info or write an article you make an investment in your personality. I mean whatever you do this way it is rest and work at the same time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One point is that locals are able to tell more about their hometown and some hidden places I'm always looking for. And another point is that traveling is revelation: it's not about seeing as many places as possible, but seeing your home place in a new light. Couchsurfing helps in both cases.
Interests
American cinema from the New Hollywood masterpieces to 2000's mumlecore and from Jim Jarmusch to independent ditectors of 90's like Richard Linklater and Noah Baumbach.
People, their characters and anything they can tell. I'm a good listener.
When you're on a bicycle, the city you drive through becomes a movie and opens up from another sight. That is why I love bicycle riding.
