About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel around Europe and learn as much as I can!
ABOUT ME
Hi!
Well, I am 26 years old, very outgoing, sociable, optimistic and active.
I looooove travelling and getting to know people from around the world, this is why I am studying several foreign languages.
I've lived for a year in the USA during high-school. I spent one semester of my masters degree in Barcelona, Spain and another one in Cologne, Germany. Had done plenty of travelling around Europe during this time, now continuing to explore it further during vacations.
I am also a big fan of photography, so I always have my memories about trips and events recorded ;-)
I share an apartment and simply don't have a spare couch now, but I'm always very happy to help everyone around and show the city (even pick-up from the airport).
Whoever is reading this - hope we meet one day! ;-)
PHILOSOPHY
I guess, I'm just trying not to miss opportunities to learn something new...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ready to host people while at home.
Would like to stay at local people's places to really learn something about the cities, the culture, practice the language...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed at 3 different hosts in France. Thanks a lot to all of them, I really enjoyed it!
Special thanks to Sylvain for the swing classes in Paris - this was a very unexpected and interesting experience!
Another host was in Geneve, Switzerland. Also had wonderful time, checking out local culinary specialties and talking for hours!
And the last one - also in Switzerland (though 5 months later) - in Basel, which was very different from the other stays, but also nice and fun, got to practice my German, yaaay!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Interstate 60, from the latest - the great Gatsby. But actually enjoy watching movies of very different types, preferably in the native language!
TV-series: House MD, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Californication, BBC Pride and Prejudice
Music: Muse, Queen, Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Joe Dassin, Maroon5, Radiohead, jazz... Also almost anything "not too heavy"
Books: Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice, Emma); J. K. Rowling (Harry Potter, not a huge fan, but I still kind of like it), J.R.R. Tolkien (Lord of the rings, Hobbit or There and back Again). That also sounds a bit too main-stream... Well, there are many more that I enjoyed reading and learnt something from them, the list would have been veeeery long :-D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(in "historical" order)
Having lunch on Hadrian's wall somewhere between Scotland and England.
Watching the sunset in Salzburg from the castle.
Driving a corn-picking tractor and milking a goat on a class-mate's farm in the USA.
Going to a private zoo and playing the whole day with coati.
The last Queen's day in Amsterdam.
Paragliding in Georgia at the sunset (not a state, but a country in the Caucasus mountains).
Swimming in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Rio de Janeiro during a rainstorm.
Walking under the Iguazu falls
Teach, Learn, Share
Love sharing the experience of living/travelling in other countries
I am always willing to help everyone with English or other languages I know.
Can also share my culinary skills.
Apparently, I can also teach the little I know about photography, if you're a total beginner - I'll at least explain to you, how to use a camera on more sophisticated regimes, then Automatic ;-)
