About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying the life

ABOUT ME

I am friendly, polite and positive (like most of the people here on Couchsurfing, yes)
I am Russian by origin, but live in Spain since 2016. I am married with a Spanish guy. We have bought a flat recently, and now doing a kind of little renovation, everything by our hands. So I am in the furniture restoration, second hand and flea market stuff.
When I was living in Moscow, my job was to make an exhibition: collect creative people who made interesting clothes, jewerly, bags, acsessoires, interesting things by their hands. So I still like such stuff too.
I also love nature, mountains (hiking), gardening (I am trying to create a little garden in my terrace), art (I am studying various drawing techniques), calm music. I also love pets; we have a cat who is a member of our family.
I love Asia very much, have spent several month traveling around India (about 3 month), have been to Bali (Indonesia), Thailand, Nepal; dreaming about other countries there and about India again.
Yes I love to travel. But now, as I live in Europe, I will focus on traveling here, visiting friends and making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Shantaram' by Robert Gregory Davis (I have just read ad like it very-very much)
'Illusions' and 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' by Richard Bach
I also love Erich Maria Remarque, Neil Gaiman, Irwin Shaw...

A question. Does anyone outside Russia have heard about Victor Pelevin, famous modern Russian writer that I like?

Music: Rock, Rock-n-Roll, Jazz, Blues. Reggae is also good )) I don't understand any kinds of electronic music (but usually like people listerning it).

The best movie I ever seen is "Baraka". It shows how beautiful our earth is. I am happy that I have been to some places filmed in the movie and going to visit others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent last winter traveling around Nepal and India (more than 3 month). Maybe it is not so amasing in this site but for me it was important step. Step to happyness ))
Next thing that is a small step for CS community but a big step for my life is that I moved to Spain to live… and living here since 2016.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking (I love doing it and can offer you a dinner, it can be traditional Russian food of international fusion, but anyway something tasty); or… se the next field.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For the hosts: dinner together (I can cook you something delicious or invite you to eat outside), a conversation, talk with wine or tea (I am a tea lover), some classes or talks in Russian language for those who is interested, something tasty from Spain according to your taste, advices and talks about renovating of the flat or furniture if it can be interesting (or any other topic that can be interesting).
