Hi! I'm Helga! I live in Moscow and study at the Faculty of Philology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. I study Serbian and Polish languages. Also study Italian and Swedish, but for now I don't speak very well. I'm interested in meeting people from different cultures. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I'm on Couchsurfing? Well, I'm here to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I think, it's can be possible only when you are communicating with local people.

Interests

I have many interests. I like to learn languages, do sports, travel ... I'm crazy about music! I love listening to music, love to sing, love to visit different concerts and play the guitar. Also I really like industial tourism.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said, I'm crazy about music. ЕspeciallyI like rock, folk, jazz, indie rock . Also I like listening to music in different languages.
My favorite singers and groups: Nirvana, Garmarna, Gorillaz, Vasiliy K. and the Kurtens, Eluveitie, Enaj, Alt-J, Heavy Young Heathens, Franz Ferdinand, Elvis Presley and others.

I also love reading. My favorite modern writers are Stephen King and Neil Gaiman (also I l really like one serbian writer - Danilo Kis).
But I also enjoy reading ancient classical authors such as Caesar and Plautus.
One of my favorite books: "The Catcher in the Rye".
Also I like reading myths of different nations, particularly Scandinavian. Unfortunately, I love so many books that I can't remember them all now :)

What about movies? I like to watch old gangster movies such as "Scarface", "Leon" and "The Godfather". Also like Tarantino's movies. Now Im watching American Horror Story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, I have many unusual stories. I think the most unusual is: my friend and I hitchhiked in Karelia!
