ABOUT ME

I am a dancer and documentarian from Ukraine. There are so many interesting things out there, so I try to be open to creativity and self-expression
I am also greatly interested in volunteering that's why I participate in different projects in Ukraine and abroad. The best way to find yourself is through communication and sharing.
I am a storyteller in movement. Every dance is a story to share. I believe that those stories can be told through different media and styles. My native styles are breaking, hip-hop and experimental. Though I am getting more and more interested in contact improvisation and contemporary.

Intereses

As I come from the family of musicians I can't imagine my life without music. I play the piano, the guitar and started learning to play the flute and ukulele)
Dance is music of movement so it is one more thing I can't live without. I dance breaking, hip-hop , experimental.
For me breaking is ballet of hip hop culture for it denies limits and strives for ultimate expression. Hip hop is an art-form even before entering the stage, but in a theater there are more means and media to broadcast hip-hop's powerful message to wider audiences. That's why hip hop theater is my main passion as a practitioner, documentarian and dance researcher.
Also I am crazy about documentary filmmaking which is quite close to journalism and arts.
And eventhough I am Ukrainian I love Spain and Catalonia and I am willing to film there.
Barcelona is my native city número dos) I can say that I was born there at least once :)
