About Me

Hi everybody! We are a married couple (more than 7 years together along with a cat) from Belarus.

I'm a journalist and write a loooot of news every day. Eugene works with advertisement and he is damn good at it:)

Two years ago we got tired of work and made a great journey to Africa. We started using Couchsurfing in that journey and met a lot of wonderful people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and love to chat :)

Interests

I like animals and long walks in unknown cities.

I like Scandinavian countries and dream of moving to Sweden one day.
Eugene is a huge football fan but a poor football player:) Among all the football teams he prefers "Liverpool".

He is also fond of cooking. His signature dish is meat ragout with mashed potatoes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like jazz. I tried to learn lindy-hop dancing but had no luck with partners. I still dream that one day I will find a perfect dance partner:)

I also familiar with rock'n'roll and classic rock. I have listened to the Beatles, Queen, ABBA and The Doors since I was 15.

I can't name my favourite author or a favourite book. The last that impressed me was "The Roadside Picnic" written by the russian science fiction authors Strugatsky brothers.

Eugene is a big movie fan. He can easily explain why "Bad Boys II" is the best comedy in the world and at what age children should watch "Star Wars" for the first time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In fact, the most amazing thing we decided to do was a trip to Africa. Especially after robbery on the first night of our journey:) We were shocked but decided to move on and crossed half of Africa with the help of hitchhiking and Couchserfing.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Namibia, Poland, Russian Federation, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, Zambia
